Carmel Lewis is the youngest daughter of renowned potter Lucy Lewis.  Along with her sisters she continues the family tradition of making classic Acoma pottery.  Carmel’s pottery focuses on pre-historic and older Acoma designs.  This bowl is inspired by pre-historic black-on-white pottery.  The piece has a lightning pattern in the central part of the design.
