Faustina Gutierrez was amazingly diverse in her pottery styles. Her work ranges from carved to painted and plainware pottery along with black and polychrome versions.  This bowl is carved with a lightning and rain pattern. The design is carved in a cameo style with the design extending down from the rim. The base of the bowl is fully polished.  It is signed on the bottom, “Faustina” and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, restoration or repair.
