Jeff Roller creates exceptional traditional pottery and there is a remarkable attention to the crisp carved lines in his work as well as a evenness to his stone polished surfaces.  This is one of his signature pieces in miniatures.  The jar has a long neck and there are very thin carved lines which are the eagle feathers.  The lid is an eagle head which is made from traditional Santa Clara clay.  There is striking detail in the feathers on the head.  The jar is signed on the bottom in the clay.
